Reader's Journal: I do think that Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone is a good book, but I just do not think that is for me. The reason being is not because it is not a good book trust me because J.K Rowling would not be a billionaire if it was not a good book it is just that I feel like it is a little to long for me I never really got into novels as much as I want to and me reading this made me realized that I should have picked a smaller book; but the story that is something totally different it is wonderful and very unique. It made me want to read more every time that I was reading, but probably not the whole series just the whole book. The reason for that this book makes you wish that wow magic is cool, or that you wish we magic in our world even more seeing they describe it in this book. Also as I seen Harry Potter evolved from this little boy that feels isolated from his own uncle and auntie, and cousin become one of the most great students at Hogwarts; that right there a lone is satisfying because you see this kid who does nothing but still some how it ends up being his fault like their just intentionally doing this to bother him; it makes you feel bad for him; and good thing that Hagrid came in the beginning of the story, because i was starting to get mad at the uncle and auntie because I was like this does not have anything to do with magic and it made me depressed for picking this book, because I thought I was about read about magic, so basically to me it was hard read the book the way it had started but when Hagrid comes the book becomes wonderful through out the end. So that i think that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a good book, but still feel like it was just a little bit to long for me to read basically because of the beginning, so hopefully no more of those three characters they made my my head hurt.
